Redford Police Seek Suspect In Attempted Kidnapping

REDFORD (WWJ) - Redford police are on the hunt for a man they say tried to abduct a 9-year-old girl.

It happened Friday happened near Pilgrim and Telegraph Road in Redford.

Police describe the suspect as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 150 lbs. He was wearing cargo shorts and has an eagle or some other bird tattooed on his left forearm.

Police said the suspect was driving a newer black four-door car with tinted windows, possibly a Buick.
