Red Wings To Bring Holiday Cheer To DMC Childrens Hospital Of Michigan On Monday

Detroit, MI… The Detroit Red Wings will kick off the holiday season with the team's annual visit to DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan on Monday, Nov. 28, at 2:30 p.m. The entire team, including head coach Mike Babcock, is expected to attend this event.

The visit will start off in the Red Wings Play Zone in the hospital's lobby where media will be able to speak to Herman Gray, MD, president of Children's Hospital of Michigan, as well as Babcock, captain Nick Lidstrom, Justin Abdelkader and Ty Conklin as they engage with select patients from the hospital.

For more than a decade, the Red Wings celebrate the holidays by visiting Children's Hospital. In addition to the team's annual visit, the Red Wings support the hospital through other programs. The Red Wings Wish Club allows fans to get a message displayed on the jumbotron during home games for a small donation. Last season, the Red Wings Wish Club raised more than $16,500 for the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation. For more information about the Red Wings Wish Club, please call (313) 745-5024.
