Pistons' Stuckey Leaves With Shoulder Injury

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey collided with Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony late in the first quarter Wednesday night and left Detroit's 109-100 loss with a bruised right shoulder.

"He caught me at a good angle and I got hit," Stuckey said. "I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow."

Stuckey, though, said he hopes to play Friday in Miami.

"I'll make the trip and we'll see how it feels," he said.

Stuckey grabbed his right shoulder after trying to get past Anthony's screen. He went to the court, clearly in pain, and was evaluated by the team's medical staff before slowly walking toward Detroit's locker room.

Detroit's leading scorer wasn't worried that he had separated his shoulder.

"I felt a pop, but I knew it wasn't that, because it didn't have that awkward feeling," he said.
