Pistons 113, Wizards 102

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ/AP) - The Pistons found some depth and balance and work their way to a win over the Washington Wizards 113-102 Sunday night.

As heard on 97.1 The Ticket, Charlie Villanueva talked about how the team is coming together. "We were focusing on the defensive end and it paid off, " says Villanueva speaking during the post-game show.

Villanueva scored all 16 of his points in the second quarter.

Villanueva made three 3-pointers, then added a conventional three-point play that started a 10-0 run that put Detroit ahead 60- 49 shortly before halftime.

Tayshaun Prince, who has been bothered by back problems, added 20 points for the Pistons in his first appearance in five games.

John Wall had 24 points and seven assists for the Wizards, who dropped to 1-29 on the road. Detroit has won eight straight over Washington.
