Pastry Chef Has Tasty Art Project To Tempt Kids And Adults
GROSSE POINTE FARMS (CBS DETROIT) - A local coffee and pastry chef has come up with a tasty art project for both kids and adults.
It's the edible version of the watercolor coloring book created by Jennifer Tilton executive pastry chef at Morning Glory Coffee and Pastries in Grosse Pointe Farms says WWJ's Brooke Allen.
"You get three blank cookies that you can paint and then the other cookie, the fourth one, is the paint palate and we include a paint brush and then a fun little easal to go with it," said Tilton.
She says the cookies aren't just for kids. "It's just being interactive with your children."
But after the kids go to bed there's the option of a night out with friends.
"They want a ladies' night out and we want to do something a little more spring - you know we can really cutomize any cookie to make sure not only adult or children can have that experience," says Tilton.
