Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash With Semi-Truck Downriver
LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) - Authorities say a motorcyclist was injured when he was struck by a semi-truck in Lincoln Park.
The accident happened early Friday morning near the intersection of Southfield Road and Dix Highway, just north of I-75.
According to police, the semi-truck clipped the motorcycle with the passenger side of his truck.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His identity was not released.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
