Uh oh the Red Wings did something they weren't supposed to do...they swept a team! I've been told that the Red Wings purposely lose games so they are able to host more home games and that way they can make more money. I'm not kidding. People actually believe this and unfortunately they probably still will anyways. But the best part of this sweep is that they will be able to rest Franzen and Zetterberg. The Wings aren't expected to play again until sometime next weekend. That gives them over a week to hopefully get healthy enough to rejoin the team for the next round which gives them a better chance of advancing in these playoffs and maybe even all the way to the finals? And that people is where the real money is.
