"We're gonna see our first period of snow tonight and into tomorrow, maybe about 2 to 4 inches, but then the bulk of the snow is gonna come tomorrow night into Wednesday, with an increase in wind. It's gonna cause blowing and drifting and poor visibility. That bulk of the snow, 8 inches or so, or maybe even more," DeVore said.
Total snowfall from Monday night through Wednesday will likely be close to a foot.
As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch, which is in effect from 4pm tomorrow through 7pm on Wednesday.
What exactly is a winter storm watch? A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel.
