Job Fair Tuesday In Livonia

LIVONIA (WWJ) - Looking for a new gig? There's a big job fair Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Livonia. Over 200 jobs are available in sales, skilled trade, customer service and IT fields.

WWJ Newsradio 950 spoke with Lisa Davisburg of Michigan Expo Experts, who said there are jobs to be had in southeast Michigan right now.

"All of the companies that participate in our career fairs are looking to interview and hire candidates within one to five business days following the job fair," said Davisburg. "So, unlike some other job fairs where the companies are just harvesting resumes, the companies that participate in our career fires are required to have positions available immediately."

Davisburg said 50 employers will be on hand, including U.S. Jet Airlines,  AAA Michigan and multiple, tool, technical and manufacturing companies.

Applicants should come ready with resume in hand.
