A dream of mine since I was 6 years old was to be a bat boy for the Detroit Tigers.

Never once did I get the opportunity or even know how to go about getting such an outing.

Now at 31 I think my time has passed to be sitting in the dugout with the players -- that was until I saw a bat boy for the Tigers this past weekend in L.A.

This guy easily has 30-plus years on him. If he isn't over 30, then he doesn't look good for his age. I know the Angels assigned this guy to be the Tigers bat boy but it has to be some kind of joke, doesn't it?

Maybe if Mike Ilitch reads this blog I will get a call to be the Tigers bat boy for a game this season...wink wink. One can hope, right?
