Compuware Employee Art Show Begins Thursday

DETROIT -- Compuware Corp. employees are obviously talented at the art of software and IT services.

Now, it turns out that many of them are also talented at the art of art.

Compuware (Nasdaq:CPWR) Monday announced the opening of its second annual Employee Art Show at its Boutique gallery inside Compuware world headquarters.

Opening night for "Beyond the Cube" will be Thursday, October 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will be a casual evening at which artists can celebrate with colleagues, friends and the art-loving public.

Visitors can vote on their favorite artwork, which also will be judged by a jury of local artists and designers. The winning artist's work will go on display in the Compuware building for four months.

After the opening, the gallery will be open to the public every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 pm.

The Boutique Gallery is at 99 Monroe, between Farmer and Randolph streets.
