8-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Hit By Car On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) -- An 8-year-old girl was hit and killed by a car on Detroit's west side on Saturday.
Police told WWJ Newradio 950 that it appears the girl ran into traffic and the driver was unable to avoid hitting her. The incident happened at the intersection of Puritan and Fairfield.
Investigators remain on the scene.
