Wheat Ridge Hotel Evacuated

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- The Ramada in the 4700 Block of Kipling was evacuated Sunday morning.

Wheat Ridge Police, West Metro Drug Task Force and Arvada Firefighters were at the hotel investigating a possible meth lab in one of the rooms.

Several rooms were evacuated. Two hotel employees went through a decomtamination process. The two women were examined by paramedics after they were possibly exposed to dangerous chemicals.

"Turns out it was possibly a lab right down the hall from where I was staying. When it's cleared up they'll let us back in," said Ramada guest Bob Kress.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests were made at the hotel.
