United Western Bank Closed By Federal Regulators
DENVER (CBS4)- Federal regulators have closed United Western Bank in Denver and surrounding communities.
Eight branches were closed in the metro area.
Regulators said the bank failed to raise enough capital to survive.
The banks will reopen on Monday, Jan. 24 as First Citizens Bank and Trust.
The bank said customers shouldn't see any noticeable changes.
