Thieves Steal $20,000 Worth Of High-Ticket Items From MAX Clothing Stores
DENVER (CBS4) - Police are investigating thefts from the MAX Clothing Stores in Denver and Boulder.
According to Scott Seale with MAX Clothing Stores, the thefts from stores in Cherry Creek North and Boulder happened on Saturday.
"All high-ticket items were stolen for a total loss of over $20,000," Seale said in a statement.
Seale said the Cherry Creek North theft occurred just before 1 p.m. and the theft in Boulder occurred an hour earlier.
"The suspects are sophisticated, shuffling merchandise between and within clothing racks, queuing each other, distracting sales people, blocking views," Seale said. "This is a devastating loss for our small business."
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
