Renovations Begin On Tabor Opera House In Leadville
LEADVILLE, Colo. (CBS4)- Construction started on the Tabor Opera House in Leadville on Wednesday. This is the first major renovation since 1902.
The Tabor Opera House was built in 1879 and has been deemed a national treasure. The $10 million rehabilitation is expected to take years.
The first phase is underway right now by repairing crumbling brick and leaking windows.
