Suspect Arrested, Accused Of Assaulting 11-Year-Old Girl
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Fort Collins arrested a man believed to have sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl as she was walking her dog.
Police say the girl was walking her dog in Eastside Park on Sunday when she came into contact with a man who was unknown to her, later identified as Daniel Engilman.
Engilman, 58, inappropriately touched the child and briefly refused to let her leave. The girl was able to get away and notified her family who then contacted police.
Officers arrived and located Engilman a short time later. He was arrested for sex assault on a child and false imprisonment.
