Summons Issued Following Mail Carrier Dog Attacks

LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) - Loveland police have issued a harassment summons to a man accused of repeatedly encouraging his dogs to attack a mail carrier.

Police say Robert Huls repeatedly encouraged his dogs to sic the mail carrier and laughed about it.

According to, the Postal Service also notified Huls it will no longer deliver mail to that address.

Huls' brother, David Huls, says the dogs barked at the front door but he and his brother never encouraged it.
