Relatives Of Family Killed In Crash Encourage Drivers To Be Careful

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Relatives of a family killed in a car accident are now encouraging other drivers to be more careful.

Randy and Crystal Stollsteimer and their three children were killed when an out-of-control SUV landed on top of their pickup.

The accident happened three months ago Tuesday night. Crystal's brother and nephew were back at the accident scene in Thornton. They were holding signs encouraging drivers to be careful.

"Be good to each other, don't try to pass someone on right side. If someone lets them in, thank them, be polite to each other," relative Alejandro Aldaco said.

The driver of the SUV, Monica Chavez, was charged Friday with criminally negligent homicide.
