Possible Child Enticement Incident Near Nederland Investigated

NEDERLAND, Colo. (CBS4)- Deputies in Boulder County are investigating a possible child enticement that happened near Nederland. Two 11-year-old girls said a man approached them on Saturday.

The man approached them at the intersection of Caribou and Cardinal Roads. The girls said the man asked if they wanted to play at his house. They said a woman who was a passenger in the car stared straight ahead.

The girls ran away. They were unharmed.

The man is described as white, 200 pounds with brown hair and rectangle glasses. The passenger was a white female, 200-220 pounds, with thin brown hair pulled back in a ponytail and wearing big dark glasses.

The man was driving what was possibly a white Hyundai hatchback with Colorado license plates. The vehicle had a green tarp in the backseat.
