Police Search For Gunman After Convenience Store Clerk Shot
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver searched for the gunman who shot a convenience store clerk during an attempted robbery early Monday morning.
The suspect walked into the Diamond Shamrock at 10th and Broadway about 1 a.m. and tried to rob the store.
The gunman fired one shot, striking the clerk. The clerk was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released a description but said the suspect was by himself.
Investigators gathered evidence for a couple of hours but the store was reopened before the morning commute got underway.
