Police Search For AWOL Soldier Believed To Have Abducted Infant
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs are searching for a one-month-old infant, believed to have been abducted by her father.
Derik Hembree is AWOL from the U.S. Army. The Colorado Springs Police Department has issued a felony warrant for Hembree for violation of a custody order.
Hembree is believed to have taken his infant daughter, Brooke Hembree. Police said he violated the custody order when he took Brooke.
The Crimes Against Children Unit is requesting that anyone with information about Brooke Hembree or Derik Hembree call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
