Police Provide Extra Patrols After Attempted Abduction In Boulder
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder police are providing extra patrols near schools after a reported attempted abduction.
Police said a stranger approached three elementary school students after school on Monday. It was near 9th and Mapleton. The boys say the man asked if they wanted to drive to Denver for a cheeseburger and tried to grab them, so they ran.
The boys told police the man drove off in a green Jeep with a brown top.
The suspect is described as a black male with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a yellow, blue and gray striped shirt.
