Plane With 2 Aboard Crashes In Southern Colorado
WESTCLIFFE, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a plane carrying two people has crashed in Custer County about 110 miles south of Denver, but rescuers haven't been able to reach the aircraft because of a fire.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said Sunday the conditions of the two people weren't known.
Kenitzer says the plane crashed at about 4 p.m. The type of plane and the cause of the crash weren't immediately available.
A spokeswoman for the Custer County Sheriff's Department says deputies are aware of the crash but didn't immediately have any details.
