Man Who Killed Woman At Denver Motel Gets Life In Prison

DENVER (AP) — A man convicted of shooting a woman to death during a confrontation at a Denver motel has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

The Denver District Attorney's Office says 30-year-old Brandon Foote was sentenced Friday for the June 25 death of 29-year-old Camille Harrell. He was convicted in first-degree murder after deliberation, first-degree felony murder and first-degree burglary.

Prosecutors say Foote and 36-year-old Merita Curry-Swanson broke into a room at the Sand and Sage Motel, and that Foote shot Harrell multiple times.

Curry-Swanson has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree burglary. She is set to go to trial later this month.
