Major Logging Project Under Way To Remove Beetle-Killed Trees
FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4) - A big logging project is under way to remove trees hit by the mountain pine beetle in Summit County.
Crews started cutting down trees on the Frisco peninsula Monday. It's a popular recreation spot devastated by beetles.
People can still camp, hike and bike, but expect to see heavy machinery into the fall.
