Rain & Snow Ramp Up Into Thursday
DENVER (CBS4) -
A slow moving system from the Desert Southwest continues to pump a lot of precipitation into Colorado. Over the next 48 hours, this system will move it's way north and as it does, we'll continue to see heavier rain and snow in Colorado.
Our mountains are in for a shot of snow, we actually have a Winter Weather Advisory in place through 9:00 am on Thursday for up to 8 inches of snow.
Rain likely on and off all day on Thursday, we may be in for a rainy commute for the Front Range. Temperatures will remain on the cool side, we'll on ly be in the low to mid 50s with lots of clouds when it's not raining.
Friday we'll be a bit warmer with lesser chances for storms. By the weekend, we warm up to the 70s and have more sunshine.
