Warmer Weather For The Week

By Lauren Whitney
DENVER (CBS4) -

The clouds we had on Monday actually made for a really nice day! Our temperatures were still very warm, with plenty of upper 70s and low 80s for eastern Colorado.

We'll stay warm all week, with highs mainly in the 80s. More sunshine returns on Tuesday, again with highs in the low 80s. We stay sunny and warm through Thursday.

Later on Thursday, we start to see a few thunderstorms pop up again. This will help start a new wetter and cooler pattern heading into Mother's Day Weekend.

At this time it appears the best chance for rain will be Friday night and Saturday. Sunday should be mainly dry but lingering rain showers look possible and temperatures will be cooler than usual for Mother's Day with highs in the 50s. If you're making brunch plans for mom, make sure to find an indoor option just in case.
