The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for extreme high winds and snow for a section of eastern Colorado that included the I-70 corridor on the plains. That warning expired at 9 a.m. but there were still strong winds throughout the day. Gusts as high as 70 mph were recorded.

Snow totals from the snowstorm ranged from 2 to 5 inches on the Eastern Plains.
