I-25 Express Lanes To Get More Expensive Without Transponder
DENVER (CBS4) - It will be getting more expensive to use the express lanes on Interstate 25 unless drivers have a transponder.
Starting March 1, drivers who use the license plate tolling and get bills in the mail will pay 25 percent more. Drivers with express toll transponders will not be paying more.
The express lanes also continue to be free for motorcyclists and vehicles with more than one person inside.
The change means tolls for non-transponder users will go up to between 75 cents and $5. Express toll prices will remain at 50 cents off-peak and $4 at rush hour.
