Happy New Year!

I love a New Year.

Not for the party at midnight - but for what a "New Year" means.

When I think back on the memorable moments of my life - it isn't the day I remember - but the year.

The year we graduate high school and college.

The year I got my first reporting job.

The year I bought my first car and home.

The year my niece and nephew were born.

Some years - remarkable - truly life changing - others not so much.

That's life….

But I love the possibilities of a new year.

Whether you make resolutions or just enjoy the freshness of January 1st…

Any way you look at it, we all have a clean slate ahead us.

2010 was an amazing year for me on many fronts.

But the most blessed gift of all was the birth of Elle.

I tend to shy away from the resolutions because my list of resolves would be way to long to ever accomplish in a year. (Ha!)

But I like to reflect.

And I like to think about the potentials that are ahead.

2011

I hope it brings health, happiness and joy to all of you.

I hope you find fulfillment in whatever path you take.

I hope you are fearless in the steps you take to reach your dreams.

And I hope your adventures are full of laughter and love.
