Good News For Retailers In Cherry Creek North

DENVER (CBS4)- There's some good news for retailers in Cherry Creek North. Sales numbers for 2010 are in and they show a nice jump in business.

Sales tax receipts show business was up 16 percent last year compared to 2009. The holiday season was especially good. The shopping district saw a 24 percent increase in 4th quarter revenues.

Renovations, including new landscaping and lighting helped attract customers.

This Saturday the shopping scene in Cherry Creek North will get even better with the completion of the new Fillmore Plaza.
