Frontier Airlines Offers Cheaper Flights To Grand Junction Amidst I-70 Closure

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver-based Frontier Airlines is offering more flights from Denver to Grand Junction as a way to get people around the ongoing Interstate 70 closure. The road has been closed for nearly two weeks after mud and debris came crashing down during heavy rain storms.

The flights are also cheaper, Frontier officials say. The airline flies to Grand Junction three times a week, but will add round trip flights on Aug. 14 and Aug. 21.

Prices for those tickets are as low as $70.
