Frisco Holiday Inn Owner Charged For Allegedly Exposing People To Asbestos
FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4) - The owner of the Holiday Inn in Frisco faces charges of exposing guests and employees to asbestos during renovations.
The state attorney general's office says about two dozen people who stayed or worked at the hotel were exposed to the potentially cancer-causing material. An indictment alleges the owners rented rooms that had been contaminated. That's despite the state health department ordering them not to rent the rooms.
If convicted those charged could face up to six years in prison or face a $500,000 fine.
