Federal Heights Police Arrest Teen Accused Of Bringing Gun Into School
FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. (CBS4) - An 18-year-old is in police custody after allegedly walking into a Federal Heights high school with a revolver.
The teen was spotted acting suspicious outside Pinnacle High School at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday. School officials chased him into the school auditorium, but he was able to get away.
Police caught up to the teen, whose name hasn't been released, a few blocks away.
"The subject had a 22 caliber revolver in his possession at the time of the arrest," police said in a statement.
He's being held in the Adams County Jail.
The school was placed on lockdown during the search.
