FBI Agents, Police Search For Bank Robber
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are searching for a bank robber.
The man hit the Bank of the West at 2970 Quebec Street at about 9:12 a.m. on Tuesday. He entered the bank, presented a demand note and ran away.
The suspect is described as a black man, 40 to 45 years old, approximately 6' to 6'1" tall, 180 to 190 pounds and has a medium build.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap with a pink breast cancer ribbon on the front.
He is also wearing a purple t-shirt, dark shorts and white tennis shoes. The suspect was also seen in the footage carrying a messenger bag.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
