Driving Instructor Arrested On Federal Fraud, Bribery Charges
DENVER (CBS4) - A driving instructor indicted on mail fraud and bribery charges will be in federal court Wednesday afternoon.
Dennis Sieving, 53, formerly an employee for American Driving Academy, is accused of taking cash from driver's license applicants and then verifying that they took a driving test.
Often no test was ever given.
He was arrested without incident on Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
That led Colorado's Department of Motor Vehicles to revoke more than 1,500 drivers' licenses last month.
