Dog Sculpture Welcomes Visitors To Denver Animal Shelter
DENVER (CBS4)- The new location of the Denver Animal Shelter will open in just a few days. On Wednesday, the staff welcomed its first permanent resident.
Large cranes installed the 20-foot-tall metallic dog sculpture named "Sun Spot" Wednesday. The giant sculpture is made of wire mesh and 90,000 dog tags.
The Denver Public Art Program commissioned the project.
