Denver Weather: Cooler Temperatures Coming Soon

Our September heat continued today for most of Colorado. In Denver, we hit ___ which puts us ___ above our average of 74 degrees. This has been the trend this month, with all but four days clocking in above average.

Our well above average temperature will take a break on Friday after a cold front rolls through. This will knock our highs down to the low 70s in the Denver area. We'll also see a chance for some much needed rain, especially in the high country. We could get some rain later in the evening here in Denver.

We bounce back to the upper 70s on Saturday, and could be close to the 90s again by Sunday. That won't last long as we could actually get into the 60s early next week!
