CU Paying Building Officials Energy Bonuses
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The University of Colorado is giving bonuses to employees who conserve energy and cut carbon emissions in their buildings.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, three building proctors have been given the bonuses because they cut energy use by at least 5 percent over the previous year.
Campus building director Moe Tabrizi says the three buildings saved the school more than $12,000 and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 140,000 pounds.
