Crews Work To Fix All 1,200 Flight Boards At DIA
DENVER (CBS4) - Workers at Denver International Airport on Tuesday were trying to fix a computer glitch that was causing problems with all 1,200 flight boards.
The airport says the problems started after maintenance overnight. DIA says they have no idea when the system will be back up and running. Flights were not impacted by the problem.
Some airports across the nation were also trying to get back on track after a separate computer glitch forced airlines to delay flights. The glitch caused problems with reservations, check-ins and online booking.
The problem was traced back to the "Sabre System." Even airlines not affected by the outage were caught up in the mess with delays around the world.
