Colorado Will Share In Dannon Yogurt Settlement
DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado will share in a $21 million settlement with Dannon Yogurt.
The company has agreed to pay the fine and stop making exaggerated health claims about its Activia yogurt.
Colorado will get almost $500,000.
Dannon will no longer be allowed to market Activia using claims that it makes consumers more "regular" or helps fight colon cancer and other diseases.
