Colorado Man Drowns While Rafting In Utah
MOAB, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say a 47-year-old Colorado man has died after falling from a raft in the Colorado River near Moab.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office says Jaymond Brasher was on a rafting trip with three others when the boat capsized in a rapid on Thursday. All four were thrown from the raft, and Brasher was washed away.
Authorities say his body was found about eight miles down the river where it had washed up on an island.
Brasher was from Littleton, Colo.
