Broncos Fans Have An Easier Time Getting Through Security
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Broncos fans had an easier time getting through security at the gates on Sunday. It was the second time security officers used hand held metal detectors instead of patting down fans.
Fans didn't seem too bothered by tighter security measures. Many fans showed up early because they heard there would be longer wait times.
Pat-downs had been in place since the season started and the wands have only been in place for two games.
Fans said the wands do add to the wait time in line, but most don't mind.
"It's for security reasons. We have lots of kids and families. Denver fans are so great and I think people have a good attitude about it," a fan said.
Last week wait times got to be up to an hour.
