Boulder County Imposes Fire Ban
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The hot, dry conditions prompted Boulder County to impose a fire ban at noon on Thursday.
It restricts all open burning, fireworks and the launching of model rockets.
Violating the ban could mean a $500 fine.
The fire danger is rising across the state. It's listed as extreme in Northwestern Colorado and high on most of the Western Slope and on the Eastern Plains.
