Authorities Suspend Search For Missing Denver Woman
GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have suspended their search for a 38-year-old Denver woman whose car was found abandoned near Golden.
The Colorado State Patrol says Amy Ahonen called troopers on Friday requesting a motorist assist on Highway 6.
The search was launched after a roommate called authorities on Sunday to report Ahonen missing.
Jefferson County sheriff's spokeswoman Jacki Kelley told the Denver Post there is nothing more the sheriff's department can do for now.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson says Denver police do not suspect foul play and are still investigating this as a missing person's case.
