Aurora Police ID Those Involved In Fatal Crash
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police say speed and alcohol are likely factors in a deadly crash in Aurora Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Police said the driver of a Pontiac, identified as Catherine Wheels, 22, of Denver, was headed south on Havana when she was hit by a Hyundai that ran a red light.
Wheels was killed and her passenger, identified as Stephan Brown, 21, also of Denver, was treated and released at a hospital.
Police said the driver of Hyundai, identified as Jonathan Ichrist, 36, of Arvada, survived but was taken to the hospital. Police suspect Ichrist was drinking.
