The Aspen Acres Fire is growing significantly and has forced new evacuations.

Southern Colorado authorities are scheduled to provide an official update at 4 p.m.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the fire was 35,000 acres in size. There are strong winds in the area and no meaningful moisture in the forecast.

The fire is burning in Pueblo County and Custer County.
