$600 For A Hotel Room? In Aspen, Visitors Say 'Sure'
ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Be prepared to pay if you plan on grabbing a room in Aspen.
The Aspen Times is reporting hotels and lodges charged the highest room rates in the state last month.
The average daily rate came in at nearly $600.
The newspaper reports the price hardly drove away visitors. Hotels were on average 81.3 percent full.
