2 Critical, 2 Serious After Deck Collapses In Genesee
GENESSE, Colo. (CBS4) - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says several people have been hurt after a deck collapsed in Genesee Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said 12 people were injured and two people are in critical condition and two are in serious condition.
The incident happened in the 200 block of Lamb Lane.
Witnesses say they heard a crack in the deck before it collapsed. The deck was around 15 feet off the ground.
Witnesses said after the deck collapsed they saw people on the ground who were unconscious.
A building inspector was also called to the scene.
